Artist Statement

This piece explores the complex relationship between human ambition and artificial intelligence. In a world already strained by environmental collapse, it asks whether the pursuit of convenience and control might become the architect of humanity’s demise. The AI Machine encourages reflection on whether technology represents our progression or our undoing — a mirror to the duality of innovation and ego.

“The Ai Machine” . Through a dual presentation, the Ambient Light Mode shows the symbolic egg during it’s incubation period as the visible surface of our presence, while the Lightbox Illuminated Mode exposes what lies beyond, shows the Ai machine in the egg during it’s incubation period, with its mechanical tentacles reaching out and injecting the human brain with digital data, and subsequently reforming the human mind in to a digital state forever. The egg implies the infancy, and uncertainty of Ai’s place in the future world as we know it.
